Alright then, with the Freezing Gust nerf, I'll be updating the charts. I'm also thinking that the last "Extra Space" post will go to housing all of the outdated charts, so everyone can see the evolution of the study if they want.
As always, feedback, comments, and questions are appliciated!

This needs a sticky. Desperately. The amount of math involved here is simply staggering. And I admire anyone who uses math to make their point. What's even nicer is that it doesn't attempt to judge, or say "this is the best snare", only "this is the most efficient in terms of this". It's highly informative.

Thank you for your kind remarks
There are quite a few others who are arguing for the study to be stickied, so we'll see what happens.
I've upated all the charts to reflect the December 9th, 2010 skill update for Freezing Gust and added all of my old, outdated work to the final post of the study so people can track the evolution of the study and also to see how snaring has changed since March 2010.

Major clean-up: combined equations, combined proofs, and beautified charts, making them all a lot easier to use.
After a series of requests, I'll start to work on a new chart, which will list each snare and snare combination's "by round" efficiency for the first five or so rounds. This will let people identify which snare combination efficiencies "grow" the fastest, better indicating which snare set to use, as the converge efficiencies are seldom reached.
EDIT: I owe credit to Next Top Runner and his Official Place-to-Place Running Time Records [Competition/Leaderboard] ; I didn't know that you could post tables/charts until I saw his post

Your outdated work post is massively annoying. It's about the same size (if not longer) than the entire current edition. I'd recommend reducing the images to links or wrapping the post in [spoil][/spoil] tags (preferably both).

Thanks for the comments and tips! I followed them and I have to say, it's a lot more manageable (the post not only caused longer loading times and made the page inflated, but I think it may have also distracted from the rest of the study or misled people to believe those charts, etc. were an integral part of it).
